Shana S. Turrell is an Arizona native who studied general biology and harp at the University of Arizona. After her undergraduate studies, she attended Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine and Health Sciences in Tempe, AZ and received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine in 1997.
In 1998, Dr. Turrell began practicing at the Flagstaff Clinic of Naturopathic Medicine with Drs. Mark James and Mary Poore. As a naturopath, Dr. Turrell is a licensed primary care physician who specializes in the use of natural therapies to treat illness and optimize health.
Her Practice has a special emphasis on women's |
healthcare and pediatrics in addition to general family healthcare. She utilizes clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, acupuncture and oriental medicine, homeopathy and hydrotherapy as well as conventional medical diagnosis and laboratory techniques in treating disease and restoring health.
In her free time, Dr. Turrell enjoys time in nature with her husband and daughter, playing the harp and piano, sketching, drawing, painting or just enjoying art and music.
