Dr. Poore opened The Flagstaff Clinic of Naturopathic Medicine with her husband, Dr. Mark James, in 1986. She maintains a family practice with an emphasis on women's health care. She utilizes a variety of natural therapies in her practice to treat illness and optimize health including: lifestyle counseling, botanical medicine, clinical nutrition, acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine..
Dr. Poore is a native of Montana and received her bachelor of science degree in Pharmacy from the University of Montana. She worked as a hospital pharmacist for five years before entering naturopathic medical school at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, OR. |
Dr. Poore also attended the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine for her training in acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine.
In the past several years, Dr. Poore has lectured on a variety of women's health care topice including: menopause, hormone replacement therapy, osteoporosis, and breast cancer.
Dr. Poore is the mother of three daughters and in her free time she enjoys running, hiking and spending time with friends and family.
